Provide a detailed floor plan with all the windows and doors measured, plus where the doors lead to.

You probably need to divide up the furniture somehow. I see no lamps, books, art. All of these add warmth and personality to a room. What do you have in mind?

Thank you Yvonne. You can see the floor plan by looking at the second photo shot from the entrance looking inward. A set of windows on either side of the fireplace. That’s it with 4 doors leading into the room. Challenging 😊

Command picture holders may work if wall is smooth for some art.

Since your room is long can you put bookshelves on wall and move the sofa away from it about 24”?

How about a mobile? Just make sure you get a light one so you only need a thumbtack to hang it.

I would do a large piece of art over the sectional. If you don't want to make any holes for hanging a picture, is there room to pull the sectional forward a foot so you can rest the art on a very narrow sofa table? Then an arc lamp help fill in the space between the door swing and the sectional, and give some helpful lighting as well.

You need to find a very large piece art you love to hang over the sofa. We can't pick that out for you. It is all about taste. That said - I'm not in love with the piece you have by the window. It doesn't seem to fit the vibe of the room, and I think a mirror would look great there by the window.

Do you know about command strips and hooks? Damage free way to hang things from the wall. I've lived in a 170 year old house. I get not wanting to drill into plaster.
