I would NOT use LVT in a master bathroom. Looks Cheap. Select porcelain/ceramic/stone tile for both floor and shower.

What Beverly said. There is nothing luxury about luxury vinyl tile. It’s VINYL for pete’s sake.

As long as you choose a basic neutral tile it shouldn't cost more than LVT either. And I'm all for choosing something basic and neutral because that's what has the most longevity. However, I would spring for new vanities. You're already almost doing the whole thing. You have to remove them to get to the floor underneath anyway, so why put them back. Put 12 X 24" on the floor and the same tile in a smaller size on the shower floor. Look for a coordinating tile for the shower walls. If you use neutral tile different wall colors should work depending on your preference. Whether you keep the vanities or not you should try to center the light fixture over the one in your picture. If there is a real tile store near you, go there and get assistance from a salesperson instead of trying to figure it out yourself at a big box store. They can also make recommendations for competent tile setters.

It isn't until you begin to look at flooring with white accents that you realize your vanities are far from white.

When your freestanding tub is in, the white of it is going to clash with the ivory of your vanities.

Do you have a pic of your freestanding tub? Your current mirrors, vanity, and lighting are a bit of a mismatch in styles. Nothing wrong with intentional eclectic. But, I wonder if you are going to end up with a mismatch mashup if you are not more intentional about the look of all of the pieces you are selecting now.

What style is the new tub you want to have go with these vanities? WIth your current vanity. I’d go with a smaller tile rather than large format. But you have a lot of considerations here.

Do you love the current vanities - is that why you are keeping them, or is it a matter of budget?

We cannot see the left side of the bathroom and how the 2nd vanity is positioned. Is this really the best location for them? Since you're renovating just about everything I would consider the layout and colour of the vanities.

Thank you for all the help! I do not like the vanities it’s a budget constraint. The Reno is happening due to insurance requiring the plumbing to be changed. This is a photo of the other vanity and the future tub (it’s modern and was selected more for the fit than look)
What color/style of vanity should I look at?
We currently have both a 48” and 30” vanity.
Would a white vanity be the way to go? They are quite yellow.
I’m also open to changing mirrors and lighting fixtures if needed.
