will you be using this existing empty room with the door as the 'new' entry/foyer or are you adding onto the exterior for a new approach?

If using the existing, I would use half of it

and incorporate the other half into living space Don't add any more walls or hallways, keep ot open, just utilize moveable furnishings to designate areas.

Example: Put a tall Armoire for coat storage in the center of the room as a barrier and possibly a conversation area on the opposite side (upholstered chairs w a bistro table)

Use your imagination and draw out different configurations on graph paper.

Lots to think about... what do you need as an entry and what do you want to highlight.

Will this be an eat in kitchen? The area just open to the kitchen?

Your front elevation shows two front door, the interior shows one.

We are going to add on to the exterior to create the foyer. And yes the 2 doors you see outside of the house- believe it or not the door to the right is a fake door! It doesn't open!
The kitchen we plan on adding an island and yes a kitchen table and chairs

Isn’t the ‘flex space’ on the plan the foyer? You say you are expanding the kitchen into the garage- do you have a plan for that?

I would consider taking space from the Flex Space to enlarge the kitchen. You want to keep a 2 car garage for resale. This plan still provides a generous foyer for this size home.

The Foyer is inside the home. The Entry is outside the home. I think you should install a single door with sidelights, add a flat canopy with colmns and extend the entry stoop to accommodate the columns.

As far as adding the canopy entry. I would still need a foyer to enter the house right? The room that you enter is just a weird room. So we could remove the wall or move the wall to make it a hallway to enter the kitchen/living room

We are equally confused because you are not giving us enough information to help you. There are tons of creative people on here that could help you if you provide all the context. Scope of work. Dimensions. Budget. Goals. You’ve decided to expand the kitchen into the garage- where are the plans for that? How are you dealing with the garage door? Where are photos of the existing foyer?

For instance what if the wall came down and the dining room moved to the current kitchen allowing the odd half window on the front to get larger, kitchen pushes to the back, laundry becomes a pantry?
