bathroom fixture question

We are redoing our kids bathroom. The pic below is the inspiration…*
We have black shower fixtures, and I plan on doing the double black-lined mirrors, but for some reason I’m thinking I should do chrome vanity fixtures. Mainly because we have very hard water where we live and I think the black fixtures will be hard to keep clean (in addition to the two teens who will be using them). I already have a black towel rack, TP holder and towel holder.

Will the chrome look weird? I just figure in future it’s much simpler to replace tile rack than it is faucets so the practical side of me is coming out.

Would love to know your thoughts.

I might consider a faucet that has black accents to make the connection visually.

Are you SURE about the all black and white look. It’s a trend, and it’s now basically just flippers in my market doing it. Nothing wrong with black and white but it’s just everywhere. Life can be so much more interesting. I would do all chrome fixtures- it’s so classic and easy to clean.

if you are concerned about teens and cleaning, Use all polished chrome for a timeless look.

replace it all when they move out. As you say, some things are easy to change.

I would not recommend a single hole faucet with the handle on top for kids. They will drip water all over the faucet as they turn it off. Get one with a low handle on the side, like your inspiration picture Been there, done that!
