Hello! I’m scheduled for a kitchen remodel this fall and would appreciate feedback on layout revisions/recommendations, color palettes that fit with the lighting and flooring, etc. My contractor is open to keeping the door pictured in the corner of the kitchen, which leads to an attic staircase- or relocating it to the opposite wall (the dining room) to provide more room for cabinets/appliances/etc. Essentially, I’m deciding between an L-shaped or U-shaped arrangement, spending on the relocation of the doorway.
I am not a creative and don’t have a designer’s eye, so I’d love any feedback! If this was your kitchen, what would you do to make it your dream? And to maximize the resale value in 5-10 years?
