It is a wood burning fireplace that has not been used and may change to a linear fireplace.

I need a lotmore info. I see 2 colors of ceilings really bad shelving . Does the FP work ?It looks like a basement space ???

Sorry this was posted twice but I can’t figure out how to delete the second one.
The lighting variation is due to the lighting from the window. Shelving was the original from the house and is definitely being ripped out. This is an 80’s Florida house. The stone work past the fireplace to go. Not sure what the mantle is made from and that whole piece is coming out.

The sky is the limit if it is all being ripped out so we need a lot more info as to your needs and style . Still looks like a basement so if not I would opt for bigger windows for sure
