UPDATE: I hope this update helos someone who may be looking for similar information. i ended up psinting the entire wall Greek Villa by Sherwin Williams. SO much better.

Im ready for a change! When we purchased our home 15 years ago I painted this old stonewall black. Now I am wanting to brighten it up. im thinking Swiss Coffee, Snowbound or maybe something like a light earthy tan I’m looking for opinions please! thank you!

I would paint out the whole room, beams, stone and all in a white you like.

Your furnishings will look so much more upscale.

I concur with Lyn. I would paint the stone the same color as the other walls and ceiling. I'd paint the beams too.

Thank you all! I hadn’t considered the beams but i love the idea to make them all white
