I know that carpet vs hardwood with a rug isa hot topic - people feel passionately one way or the other.

We are going with carpet - wool carpet in the master, haven’t thought much about the guest.

It’s been years since I’ve thought much about carpet - should we be thinking about very low pile, or Berber? (I worry about Berber snagging.). Something mid-pile?

What should we be thinking about? Any words of wisdom (don’t say - don’t do carpet)
