That does not look mitered to me but then I would never do porcelain for an outdoor kitchen a mitered edge looks like this

It’s 100% mitered and looks very sinilar to that. Unsure what it is you are/are not seeing? laminam is super common for outdoor use in los angeles

There is nothing wrong with those miters. The picture on the sintered is microscopically thin, so the more rounded the edge, the more prominent the exposed radius.

What Patricia says, is that it doesn’t look as mitered edge in this picture! Good mitered edge would look seamless and you would not see gaps! It would mostly look like real marble piece! And yes you definitely can get good mitered edge with 12 mm Laminam porcelain! I used Neolith and a very good interior designer use Laminam in her kitchen for her kitchen island and it has mitered edge all around! Again, if it was not specifically addressed how mitered edge should look, I believe for company who installed yours porcelain, it is standard for mitered edge! The dark kitchen island is Laminam!

That gap between 2 pieces of porcelain makes it look less mitered!! 100% you can do with 12 mm porcelain mostly seamless looking mitered edges, with the right installation company! Adding pictures of my mitered edge of Neolith!

And you are totally right! Porcelain is good for outdoor kitchen, because it can manage all the temperatures and would not stain or shade from the sun!
