The hood is too tall for your setup. It will be down into the prohibited combustibles zone. It needs to be 3"-6" shorter. The bottom needs to be a minimum of 30"-36" above the cooking surface.

The hood will be mounted 30” above the induction range top.

What ever you decide to do, go with someone other than this guy who spams every answer he gets, most if which do not even ask about a range hood, let alone his.

I find 30" a bit low for a hood. In both of the kitchens I have done, I targeted a 34" - 36" height above the cooking surface, which met the specs of the hoods used.

If the hood in the design is mounted 30" above the cooking surface, it will be mounted above the top alignment height of the surrounding cabinets. No one does the higgledly piggledy up down varied height cabinets any more. Which is why you need the shorter hood. Very basic math mistakes like that, Plus the use of a 6" filler in a design, would make me HIGHLY question the capabilities of the person doing the designing.

Where is the 6” filler??? We have switched range hoods to a chimney style. Works much better….
