Personally I would not have pillows on a tufted couch. I do think you need to add some color . On my monitor the walls and couches don't really go together. Dark wood tables, accents on the mantle, maybe a faux roman shade on the windows are all places you could add color.

I like your couches but why are they squeezed right up against the windows and fireplace? I’d pull them out about 3 feet.

Do you plan to add end tables with lamps? Or a coffee table?

Do you have any color at all in this room? Everything I see is dull gray and beige and cold-looking. I might look for a different rug (the one you have looks to be trying to blend with your couches but it’s missing the mark). Look for a rug with some color in it - maybe navy? Then add art, a pillow or two, and other decor with navy.

Will there be additional window treatments?

I don't think most people think of sofas as statement pieces ... they are functional furniture.

The sofa seat doesn't seem that deep, so I wouldn't do big pillows that take up too much room. Maybe just one at each end.

The room isn't done yet. I have wall art and decor for the mantle as well as a dark wood coffee table going in. I will be pulling the blues from my wall art for a few pillows. I couldn't decide how many to do on each couch but i want to keep them minimal.
