Looking For Artwork Ideas

I need artwork ideas to fill the space in between

my windows. I would prefer something that would fill the entire space. I also just bought the floor lamp pictured to go with the Eames.

    I think

twopages curtains - Google Search · More Info

you could benefit from doing some very tailored curtain panels mounted high and wider than your windows on the inside to make your windows look bigger and more finished.

    Suggestions:

What if the art over the bed moves between the two windows and the windows have black blinds?

Animal skin rug? Align it with the bed and bench, not the chair.

    I like the rug suggestion

I want something big enough that fills that space in between the windows

I’d be worried the wall might feel lined up with one large piece of art. Maybe buy Kraft paper and cut a few sizes and see how each feels. Perhaps furniture/collage would work better.

Something neutral with some texture could be nice - Etsy has tons of choices for art and wall hangings

This is from society6.com and can be ordered in many sizes. Artists submit their designs to society6, which then reproduces images in prints, pillows, and more. This has a similar palette to your current art yet totally different style. I can't tell if your accent wall is black or dark blue.

I like Aunt Thelma’s idea of finding a companion piece.

Those curtains really help the room to feel more finished.

Now I just need something to cover that center space and I’ll be complete

Give us an idea @Markeith Persons of the art themes that interest you. Thanks!

I like abstract and modern art. I was thinking a sideboard and art work

    Something like this

IMO a sideboard would crowd the space over there. What's across from your bed?

    The bathroom

    Lovely room!

@Olychick - Did you see the updated room with the curtains and 2 lamps? You still think a console would not crowd that wall?

I agree no sideboard, just art or maybe something sculptural in black. You don't want to crowd/take away from the Eames corner. Great room.

@shirlpp No! I missed the curtains. You all are right... no furniture there. I removed my comment. Thanks.

After looking at the pic with the drapes and lamp, I might move the lamp to the other side of the chair, so the base will show. And with art, curtains and the lampshade, there's a lot going on along the window wall.

Yes, Yes....I agree with you @Olychick to move the lamp to the other side of the chair.

So switch the lamp and wire side table. What’s funny is I originally had the lamp on the other side before I added the table.

Large canvas from Etsy. I'd do a black frame.
