Neither just bring a chair form the DR if needed , I cannot imagine any more stuff in thta space ..

I don’t disagree with Patricia’s comment. But if you do put something there, definitely not enough room for a swivel chair - too awkward with the TV placement. Instead of a long bench, I would use two small (light-weight) matching ottomans or square “poofs” that can be easily moved around and even pulled over to use as foot rests for someone seated at the ends of the sofas/sectional, where the coffee table isn’t in the way.

If the blank wall bothers you put your firewood shelf on the floor instead of the hearth. The room looks pretty crowded already.

A bench is not going to look good-it will be furniture all lined up against the walls. It doesn't appear that you have room for a chair-do you have one you can bring in from another room to try out?
