Is there anything that informed the colors you've tried so far?

I ask because the answer for the wall color can usually be found in the backsplash or the granite.

The strategy is to "shop" materials to inform paint colors.

Buy a fandeck from your favorite brand and flip thru to find paint colors that align with the tile and counter top.

If you want to go the tech route, you can get a Nix Mini 3 (it measures color). Charge for 3 hours, set up the app, choose your paint brand, place the aperture strategically on the colors you want to "pull", and the app will tell you the closest paint color.

I love my tools, but most of the scanners, including the Nix Mini don't work well on high gloss surfaces. "Color scans are affected by uneven surfaces, multicolored patterns, metallic surfaces, pearls, high gloss and ambient light. For best results, keep the Mini 2 flush and scan matte samples" So it probably won't work well on your backsplash.

The Mini 2 hasn't been available for quite a while. No plans to release a Mini 4 in the near future so plenty of time to get your money's worth out of a 3.
