I think I would need a bit more info but usually I like bathroom in chrome for faucets etc , stainless for kitchen faucet and pulls and knobs and the same for laundry room . Bedrooms can be quite differnt even from eachother in decor . All door hardware the same through the whole house I like stainless but again I need a bit of info as to your style for real help. Lighting is IMO first functional and Iike all LED lighting and in bathrooms and kitchen and even laundry 4000K bulbs and the rest you can go down to 3500K. I like a DR fixture to be a star and the same for staircase lights so often a differnt metal color . Too many choices are never good but to little makes it too matchy .so a fine line I think.

I’m more traditional as far as style goes. I’m pretty sure my kitchen & pantry faucets are stainless. Thanks for the lighting suggestions. And I’ve been torn on dining & main hallway lights as far as finish goes. I think I’ll possibly go with a gold tone. I have 5 lights in that area including stairway sconces plus the dining room light which is open to that area.
