The windows are small so an inset valance would block the light. Not sure you want to drill for curtain hardware in your tile. I do think you need something to warm the room up. The shiny black tile is overpowering. Maybe a piece of art. I think it should be the same height as the windows but it can a little narrower.

I would have gone with one larger window filling in all that space!

Get rid of the grids on the glass. Paint the window frames gloss red and change out your cabinet pulls also to red. Or green or what ever colour you like with black & white.

A solar shade or roman shade in a colour to coordinate with your decor.

No to any kind of window shades or valances. Your windows are too small and your design really is too contemporary for them.

The space needs some circular shapes. I'd hang three decorative plates vertically. They don't have to be quaint granny style. There are plenty of contemporary art plates that would look nice in here.

I don't think the area needs much if anything.

You're pretty much done with that window wall. Leave it and consider a brushed nickel/stainless or something in the gold family for your cabinet hardware.

I know you said you don’t need cabinets, but I might consider adding one or two between the windows anyway. Sized and/or mounted similar to the windows. Maybe with glass doors and shelves? And lighted.

I don't think the windows are the problem. No, the problem is the large empty space between them, which is emphasized by the two light fixtures lined up with the windows.

I'd start by trying artwork between the two windows ... something that'd fill in that space.

Agree with artwork - I would look until I found something fabulous and exactly right - I would use painters tape to get a sense of the right size, 3 smaller sqaure pieces stacked could look nice.

Hang artwork with command strips. I would not drill into that tile. But, I'm committment phobic around hanging art!

Another vote for a great piece of art in between the windows. Cool pendants! Would love to see a picture of them turned on. Also, what are your counters?

Bold food art in black, white, and a color you can echo in mitts, bowls, etc.

I think part of the problem is the black tile. It makes the windows jump out. I know changing the backsplash would be a big expense, but you might want to try using poster board in a light color to se see how it changes things. Otherwise, using some artwork as others have suggested may be the solution. Good luck.

My thoughts - you chose an unusual, shiny, boldly black tile and used a herringbone pattern to make it even more assertive. Presumably, hopefully, you love, love that tile.

In which case, why start covering it up with pictures of fruit or drapery?

At most, I'd put a couple of floating shelves between the windows to display a handful of equally striking pieces - thinking blown glass, etc.

I would do something about the spot reflections on the tile from the ceiling lights. I think it is distracting and glaring. A more even, diffuse light would be nicer.

One large window would have been awesome!

A third matching window would look great, but as mentioned $$$$.

Another thought is adding a smaller pendant that coordinates with the island pendants. Not the perfect choice, but hopefully you get the idea. Although again $$.
