Of those, I like the first. But I’d reconsider lights above the doors. You have a significant amout of siding between the door and roof, and a light there might bring it back into proportion. You don’t have to do a barn light, I like the look of a lantern there as well.

I would choose whatever one cordinates with the lamp post if you are keeping it? The 1st one is more contemporary and the 2nd is more traditional. I do not know your preference but I would make sure all the lights cordinate. Hope this helps.

The post lamp will coordinate with the wall sconces, since the one on the left is so close. We are waiting on an estimate to add a shed roof over the garage doors similar to the one above our windows on the far left..

I don't think you want to select a fixture that requires a specialty light bulb. First those bulbs don't emit enough actual light to illuminate your driveway. Those fixtures are for atmosphere, not general illumination. If you get bulbs that are bright enough to provide light, it's likely the glare off the bulbs will be distracting. Those bulbs are suppoled to simulate 'candlelight' or a gaslight.

Since your home is farmhouse style, you might want to consider exterior barnlights for the garage. They run $49 to $200 depending on the brand and the finish.

Lights that have those bulbs are really quite useless for actual lighting . Take the shutters off and you need a larger lamp post and closer to the entry end of the driveway mabe even a nice brick planter with a light .Like this for a whole lighting plan or at least the side ones on thagarge and then maybe the post at the driveway entry with the mailbox and lights incorporated

IMO outdoor lighting needs to be more than just a couple of lights
