I think these would look nice. Not sure which wood works best in your home. I like that there is a shelf, so you actually can put something there if you need to move it off the table for some reason. Or keep a nice book or magazines there.

Pottery Barn tables

These are a little pricey but you could probably find something similar. These come in a light wood color, too.

If you see something you like from Pottery Barn do a reverse search on a photo of the items. Last week I was looking at a desk/console from PB, but they had none on display in the store or even any wood stain samples. I did a reverse search and ended up finding it a at a local higher end furniture store for $100 less than PB and I could pick it up myself, so I saved another $300 that would have gone for shipping/delivery.

I like the tables but need something smaller. Tables will be in front of sofa bed where grand kids sleep so they have to be portable and light weight. Ottomans in picture are each 18x18.
