I'd put a table in that space, one that doesn't rise above the window sill, and still has space underneath for the plug and vent (I bet you can get a table leg in that corner behind the vent). That way you have space to sit your cleaning supplies, at least, without blocking the window. Then I would get a short stack of baskets or drawers to fit under the table. The table will give the area a more solid and filled look, than just haven't a small set of baskets or drawers there.

If you can't fit a table in there, then just go for a set of shelves or baskets, but I'd love an inexpensive table and something like the Ikea Jonaxel underneath (Ikea does make a top shelf to add if you want). I have Joxnal so I can vouch for them, but I'm sure there are lots of others, from other stores in different sizes, with wheels, etc. Ikea does make a flat top to snap onto these.

Are the stacked washer/dryer usable now? In the photo it looks like the wall is so close you might not be able to open either door all the way.

This is ridiculous -- you're standing in the hallway to reach your machines, and the space to the right is useless.

I'd get a professional in to alter the plumbing /allow you to move the machines to the exterior wall. Stacked or unstacked, this would mean covering part of that window. In a better world, you'd have a wide /short window -- like the ones in showers instead of this standard-size.

Honestly, this room would be better with standard machines /not the oversized front-loaders.

Lots of shelves (use L brackets) or small cabinets you can buy that will fit in that space.

The long exhaust flex ducting is an impediment to proper dryer function. The spring coils on flex duct causes impediment to airflow.

I have no idea why water was going everywhere but I aslo have no idea about the size of that little area you are asking about. What do you need to have in the space like do you need storage and for what? You already have the window blocked so what ever you choose can go in front but I need a lot more info and pics of that whole bathroom please Posted here in a comment.

Can you walk into the corner with the window or is it too skinny? A chest with a couple drawers and a Formica top might fit under the window. Formica top because it's easy to wipe off drips after setting a bottle of detergent on it.

If a chest of drawers won't fit, this might be a good place for a Roomba home base.

Here’s floor plan of the 3 walls. Yes I can stand and walk in that corner and current washer/dryer able to be used have to have doors closed when not in use so there’s no risk of hitting head on doors!
