My third guess is a typo.

I'm with Mark on the typo guess. I think they meant to label it grandement which would make sense in the context of extra space in the garage (it doesn't appear to be a separately defined room.) In any event, it was successful in getting folks to spend more time looking at the floor plan which could just make it clever marketing. Not unlike how the closets in Bedrooms 2 and 3 become "wardrobes" in Bedroom 1.

The home is residential construction--not commercial. It would be labelled "Hobby Room."

The first google hit did confirm it used for maybe a graphic designer. So I'm thinking of 60s Mad Men, where Don Draper stores his suits in the "wardrobe," a step up from just shirts in a "closet."

In another post, a plan had a ”HiFi closet”. I’ve seen built-in record players and niches specifically for the HiFi, but never its own closet.
