Have a design dilemma. We are renovating our pool and building a water feature on our rectangular shaped pool. It will be on the long side of the rectangle. It will be a wall about 16 inches high and about about 12ft in length and 2ft in depth.Very elegant and simple. Water will come out in a fall from the wall.
The pool is set in the backyard off center from a set of sliding glass doors that look outside to the pool. There are also pillars that hold up an over hang. The pillars are on either side of the sliding door.
The design dilemma is should the water feature be centered on the side of the pool, or should we off set the water feature so that it's centered on the glass sliding doors so that when you look out it looks centered between the windows?
What is your advice? What is correct from a design perspective?
