How would coax be wired in my condo?

I own an 1100 ft2 condo built 1988, 2 BR. There are 3 coax cable jacks; one in the living room, and one in each bedroom. As I understand it there is likely a 1-to-3 splitter somewhere to take the cable signal coming into the unit and send it to those three jacks? Is that buried in a wall somewhere or is it liekly to be more accessible? Does code require it to be accessible? There is a little utility closet where the breaker box and landline phone demarc are, but I don't think the coax come in through there.

That's what I would do. Some condo owners have subscribed to Xfinity cable and it's very obvious where the cable enters their units through the brick wall.

Just a thought: I'm wondering whether the splitter isn't inside your unit at all. If your building had a shared wiring closet/room, then all the cable connections could be made there and the splitter could be located there too. You might ask you condo management company where the cable TV connections (from Xfinity or your cable company) are made and take a look.

There is no code for coax. It was made accessible though, sure.

Look around outside to find where the untility enters the house. That will give you an idea where to look inside.

Did you look behind the jack wall plates? In my mother's condo, the splitter was behind the master bedroom jack.
