jjkOC -- YES!!! The color can vary that widely, from a cold dank spring, to a hot Autumn! I love that!

Love those intricately furled petals. One great thing about "found" roses, you know they're not shrinking prima donnas and have been through a lot to survive and thrive.

And, you know, that's precisely why I prefer them. The moreso as both of us are in our 80th decade. We really need roses that don't need meticulous "fussing" and pampering. So, as the weaklings fade, their places are filled by proven survivors.
