What are you needs for this room? presently lots of baby equipment in the room. Will there be a TV? How many people will be using the room? We need more information.

This will be a sitting room with a desk on the left side of the fireplace wall as I’ll be returning to work. I would to have 4-6 sitting in this spot. Excuse the baby items this will all be removed :) I have lots of blues/ grey furniture in this room. thank you lisedv in advance

I would be thinking ahead to the storage needs, kids storage and office storage.

Look for vertical storage units, work up to utilize all the space.

modular to alter as necessary as needs change.

I would consider the slimmest low back swivel chairs for seating to allow for 6+

The main items you have a nice in the space. Four to six people plus a desk may be tight though. Will your little one play in here at all or will it be an adult and office space only?

I don't have the dimensions of your room which looks long and narrow with what looks like a family room with TV behind the black french doors so perhaps a layout like below is something that can work for you,
