Help me choose a range! La Cornue? Bluestar? Thermador? Ilve? ...?

We're renovating a kitchen this year and I had my heart set on Lacanche until I couldn't find a service provider in my area. After hearing Julie Blanner's nightmare, I'm back at the drawing board. I'm reading mixed reviews on all the major brands. I need 43"-55" and would love a French top. I want something pretty, and most of the major brands look too "commercial." Does anyone have experience with Ilve? I'd love the longevity of LaCornue but I don't love the price of the Chateau and the Cornufe seems to have mixed reviews about its quality.

I love that Blue Star ranges are so simple that during Covid Iockdown, I simply fixed it myself and I am not handy at all. However, they can get raging hot on the outside, a common complaint. And I had a hard time getting it to hold a steady temperature.

I guess you saw that Hallman is closing. I'd like to find out more about Ilve as well. This is an area of the market that is still growing but my kitchen reno can't wait for the big brands to catch up.
