Full and Master Bathroom Remodel Discussion

Time to finalize my full guest and master bathroom remodel. Def. a bit of a budget here. Some fairly elaborate tile work which seems like it could be a challenge to replace, not sure if staining or paint is an option? The master bathroom has thr stall fiberglass shower which 100% is going, def. need some thoughts on replacement there. Cabinet bases are in good shape, counters not so much. Rest of home has been updated to timeless neutral style very much in the Nancy Meyers style. Open to all ideas!

Full floor plans with ALL dimensions will help you get advice. Also an idea on the budget. Is this DIY or are you hiring out? This will not be inexpensive and locale will add to this.

What you show are total guts and we have no idea beyond that for your style , floor plan , budget .ONe of those welcome to my nightmare spaces.I have never done a home in someone elses style but we need info and lots of it posted here in comments

These bathrooms are definitely not a timeless, neurtal style. So, as Patricia Colwell suggests a total gut is probably your best solution. We do need floor plans to help you with layout. We are always generous in square footing of our master baths. So, will usually suggest if there is an adjacent room(s) that you can steal a bit more space from please consider that.

Seems a 5' x 9' - 12' dimension at best, with a broom closet sized shower and tub.

It's a gut, and in a perfect world, would be wider. You need a hefty budget, a good look at the possibility of accessing a bit more space, you need an exacting HARD MEASURE of this,every last inch of everything, and include adjacent spaces....and upload the drawing as a jpeg.

YOU WILL need money. Don't plan to put lipstick on this piggy. Sorry : ) No.
