Needs: Under counter double oven, induction cooktop +/- gas burner

Chat GPT and my own meager searching abilities are failing me. Perhaps you have ideas!

Moving into our new place (hopefully our forever home) this summer. We are doing a partial kitchen remodel of a weird corner that includes fridge, oven, some cabinetry (see below). Past owners put fridge catty corner with this huge pocket of dead space behind fridge and these weird, angled modified cabinets around the weird catty corner fridge. Rest of kitchen is perfectly fine and inoffensive, though from the 90s (white corian island, white box cabinets).

I can't figure out the range/oven situation. The current stove is a regular 30 inch electric with dingle oven. I don't have many demands aesthetically, but I cook and bake a lot, so getting the oven/range right is imporant to me.

I need a double oven (ok do we really need anything in life but I have a double oven now, and I can't go back), and it MUST fit under the counter. There is no room for wall ovens, alas. I would really prefer side/side ovens, and we have the space to do 36-48", or I could do the 30' double ovens with the tiny oven on top, but I would prefer the side/side to maximize size.

I just cannot find a side/side under counter oven and an induction range that seems reliable.

The Aga is so cute and fits the bill, but I care less about cute and more about reliability and functionality, and it's alarming to read how unreliable the Aga seems (has this improved recently?)

As a bonus, can anyone think of side/side ovens, mostly induction cooktop (indoor air quality and environmental), but with 1-2 gas burners for those times when you need open flame (charring bell peppers, etc)?

Current floor plan below. Going with a smaller counter depth fridge along the back wall of the little alcove.

In your space the choice I'd make is an induction range for one oven. The second oven could go in the island or at the end to the right of the sink. Which could be a single bowl preferably in a 24" base cabinet with the dw on the right. A corner frig is a logical use of often wasted space.

I'd like to relocate the powder room.

Another idea from reading this forum - has anyone ever put two ovens/ranges side by side (like two 24 inchers)?

It's not side by side, but we've had the Cafe induction with double oven range in two houses and liked it both times. Lower oven is really low, though.

I think you could combine a Jennair induction cooktop with a one- or two-burner gas cooktop.

I've owned a GE Twin Flex for 4 years. It's a wonderful oven, performs well. It's commonly installed under a counter. Cafe makes a version too, a bit sleeker looking, but not more functionality. Capacity is excellent; you'd be surprised what all you can fit in it.

Personally, I would find the control panel too low for my usability comfort. But you could always use the phone app (which I like very much) to operate the oven so you wouldn't have to stoop to operate the control panel.

Where are you reading about AGA unreliability?

What does your remodel entail? If you are not planning on new counters and cabinets it might be tricky to upsize. Also the electrical for ovens may not be in place.

If you are not doing a full remodel I would go with the GE Cafe induction range with double oven. However if you are moving the fridge you could put a double wall oven where the fridge is now.
