Hi,

I'm struggling trying to figure out outdoor rugs for this space. It is our mudroom porch (not front door) but we use this to enter/exit. 4 kids and a dog.

It is 17 x 7.5 feet. We have a swinging egg chair that goes on the left side, and a loveseat, chair and coffee table that go on the right.

We love to spend time here, reading and talking.

We live on a farm, and have muddy boots so I will put boot trays to the left of the door, and once the weather warms, I have large and small planters and side tables.

Our seating is dark brown wicker, cushions are green and red. I may change the cushions this year because they are getting faded.

Question is: Do we use 2 smaller carpets (4x6 or 5x7), one for each side with a door mat in between or get a custom carpet to fill the space (15 x 6) and put the doormat on top of it??

Any help would be great!
