Not impossible, but Blueberries don't tend get fungal problems. Perhaps you had a hard freeze just as the leaves were budding? Maybe it got too dry recently? I'd also check your soil PH to make sure it's in the acidic range that blueberries like. Assuming that's a 3year old plant and you have good moisture, ph and fertility, it should nearly double in size this year, maybe more if its a Rabbiteye type.

I agree that looks like cold damage........perhaps the new plant was too advanced for your planting location?

As an aside, I cannot imagine both blueberries and grapes growing happily in close proximity to each other. They have quite different requirements.

I moved it away from the grape vine and ive isolated them to avoid any further damage. i live in south Florida so i dont think it is the cold. i still see new growth coming in and turnkng black just as quick as the new leaves appear

Try contacting the Master Gardener office in your county Cooperative Extension. They'll know local conditions and problems blueberries might have. Do you know the variety of blueberry? I wouldn't think a highbush type would do well in Florida, so hopefully what you got is a rabbiteye which are better suited to the south. I'm in North Carolina, and have both highbush and rabbiteyes, and the rabbiteyes are definitely more vigorous.
