I was researching on soil fertility and then I came across a website that claimed that the best soild for blueberries was peaty soil, and it is supposed to have lower soil PH, like 4.5 to 5.5. But fertile soil is supposed to have the PH levels of 6.0 to 7.0. I am confused, help me...

Fertile soil is soil which can support plant health. Different plants want different PH.

Fertile soil can be available under a range of pH levels. Neutral to slightly acidic soil pH provides the greatest accessibility of nutrients but these are still present and available at both higher and lower levels. Much of soil fertility depends on organic matter content and that is independent of pH levels.

FWIW, blueberries grow quite well in soils with a higher pH than most sources indicate. I live in an area with a large number of commercial blueberry farms and soil pH here tends to be much higher than the 4.5 to 5.5. quoted.....closer to 6.0 to 6.5. And they are still very productive.
