Looks like some species of mulberry. Are the stems near the base orangish? Broken-off leaf have milky sap? The native and Eurasian mulberries can hybridize.....

It looks right for M. microphylla. The leaf undersides should be either scabrous or pubescent. The leaf shapes can be variable and lobed like with M.alba, rubra and indica, but that's not the case here.

Overall, this little "tree" is very multi-trunked and about ~9' tall.

It could be sprouts from a cut tree.
