I am just sort of slowly edging my way into orchids - mostly because I have discovered that cymbidiums bloom forever and aren't that difficult.

So, if I were to go to one of these SoCal auction meetings ... how much are we talking?

I only care about cym colors, not rarity. I am looking for pinks and reds.

There are two chapter auctions coming up fast here in Southern California, and I am just curious what to expect in terms of prices.

Thanks in advance for any input! I have enjoyed looking at the chapter websites - there are a lot of stunning photographs. Maybe I will even join a group.
