I like the house, professional landscaping will give you more bang for the buck. If you have plenty of bucks to bang I recommend working with a designer from start to finish.

I also think the house looks very nice, and wouldnt worry about changing colors etc. The landscaping needs a lot of tlc, to provide some curb appeal. The front yard, needs a few flowering trees for interest. If you cant have it all p rofessionally done, then hire the professional to draw up a plan, that you can work from yourself, when you can.
