Too busy with carpet?

I want to replace this mirror with a painting. Is this painting too much with the carpet? The pic with the gray carpet is the room.

I think replacing the mirror is wise.

If you love it, it works!

Or this? OMG!! That’s so cool! Thank you🤗🤗🤗

I don’t know why but I think it works. I really need an honest opinion though.

    Thank you

The second painting you posted with a tad bit more subdued colors feels more integrated to me, like it flows with the rest of the room. The first lively pic you posted has more of a pop. I prefer the subdued painting. But that is just my taste.

The second art piece works better in my opinion! It still has great energy and color, but feels a little more balanced with the carpet and overall vibe of the room. It adds personality without overwhelming the space. And yes, such a big step up from the mirror it’ll bring a lot of life and softness to that wall.

I do like the mirror itself perhaps not there, maybe you can use it somewhere also!

Sometimes we like to combine both when it feels like the space is missing that something...

Sorry but I don't think the flowers work with all your other selections in the room.

Nice options as well! Problem is most of my home is farmhouse in style, but I really like the two you have here

May I ask where those are from?

I keep them in my stash of art. You'll have to do a Google Image Search to find them.

Here's the alternate floral art in the room, for comparison:

I like the exuberance of the first option better, I think, but someday might change out the rug:

Can't see the rest of the room, but touches of the flower colors could help tie in the painting.

Thank you so much for doing this for me. It makes such a difference.

Don’t know why, but I really still like my first option with the last one runner-up

They are all fun. Pick the one you love. Big upgrade to the room no matter which you choose.

I love the last one with the bench. It has more of a pop art or poster feel and the grays work with your colors.

We have canvases from greatbigcanvas and love 'em. But the 'gobs of oil paint' style like your flowers gets lost in the process of printing on canvas.

Pop art or poster style seems to work best.

For the best rendering, give us the name of that painting or provide a head-on image, thanks.

Oh good. I thought that was the happy medium !

Here's the last one (with apologies to the artist for the perspective changes):

I think I’d go a bit more “farmhousey“ with the art. Unless you particularly want this colorful style…

My other rooms are very “farmhousey” so I needed a pop of color somewhere in each room

I often paint the wal behind a pice of art a color from the art it just works and IMO if you love the art it does not have to go with anything.

I don’t want to push anything on you. And like Patricia says, art is very personal. I just want to provide options that may feel a bit more cohesive. But it’s possible these aren’t your taste. … 🙏💖
