Anyone growing the rose, Wicked Sister?

My sister purchased this rose as a gift and I should be getting it in the next few weeks. I'm wondering how tall it gets and if it's fragrant. The parents are Abraham Darby x Florentina. I garden in zone 5b, NW Illinois on crappy clay soil.

I have it but no photos yet because I didn't take any last year. It is a tough survivor of a rose that mixes well with my hybrid Perpetuals, hybrid musks, and Austins in a part sun area. The color is stable and the bush well rounded at about 4' tall so far (it might get a bit bigger). We're technically zone 6 so it will probably top out at 4' in your zone.

I can't smell most rose fragrances so I'm no help there. I don't get anything from this rose and it's not reported to be highly fragrant. For me, the bloom power and tip hardiness is better.

I’m being amused that your sister sent it to you, considering the name. I can se my own daughters sending such a rose to one of their sisters in good humor.

Oh, Judi, I should have mentioned that I asked my sister to purchase this rose for me. We laughed about the name. We are very tight - she's got a great sense of humor and we both thought the name was hilarous! I told her that it will forever remind me of her - all in good humor, of course! :-)

I am growing Wicked Sister. I purchased it potted from Antique rose Emporium in autumn 2024. it was a small plant when it arrived, it is currently growing wider than tall with sprawly growth for me. Probably 18 inches tall with canes going up to 2 feet laterally. the canes are young and very thin, and the blooms are large and face down. The color is very good! kind of a coral pink.

Love the warm pink color and plethora of petals! The fragrance is tropical fruity. New last year, very healthy, will probably have similar habit to Florentina here in my zone. Liked it so much I had to buy a second! Hope you enjoy yours!

And on buying funny plant names for siblings… I just bought a ”Hot Flash” camellia for each of my two sisters, one is celebrating a big birthday soon! Hahaha

I planted both in the front of a prominent bed in the garden. Good times
