You can always use a soft white, however, I would prefer, a very light green, or a very light blue, or a very light aqua. I always like that with oak colored cabinets. You could use some colored accessories in a shade or two brighter than the paint too.

I think I would go with soft creamy white. While I love a blue or green, I think you may tire of it.

I’d look at Taj Mahal or similar countertops.

Love the sound of new hardware and lighting fixtures. I think it’ll go a long way:)

Is the floor in the kitchen consistent with the rest of the flooring on this level of the house?
I know it’s not necessarily in the plans but maybe something less “colorful/stripey “ would work better. Can be a future project….

This is my favorite Honey Oak kitchen. I know you want to tone down the orange in the cabinet without touching the wood, but the best way to do that might be to steer into the skid, as it were.

The goldenrod/orange paint color may not be what you expected, but it is kind of perfect. Would you consider painting the upper cabinets?
