What to do with the undermount sink gap which not sealed

The granite on top of the undermount kitchen sink just sits. If I move a little towards the sink whie doing dishes, the granite moves. I guess the cutout of the sink locking the granite to move further.

Anyway, due to not sealed between the sink and the granite. Water keeps seeping into the gap. I did so many times trying to seal the gap by using plumber's putty, yet due to heavy water collecting in the gap, the putty always becomes SOFT and gone. I also tried silicone to seal but it also wear off so quickly. You can see the silicone residue on the stainless sink yet nothing left to seal the gap (photo below):

Finanlly, I give up and just place a big sponge there to absorb water. However, because the sponge absorbs so much water so well, it actually makes more water sitting in the gap and dripping into the cabinet..........

What can I do? Please help. Thanks

Remount is one option using a strap mount. Once it's out flip it over and use a piece of wood and a hammer to level the center area if it's below the rest of the lip. Better yet, replace it with a single bowl without the problem. Hercules strap mount.

Who installed the sink, and how long ago? If this was recently installed, I'd call whoever did the work and make them fix it. (If you have already paid in full, you might not have any luck with them doing a fix.)

After that, I'd do what @dan1888 said and have a professional reinstall either this sink or a new one using a Hercules or other strap system.

it was a new house built 7 years ago (not customized but ready to move-in house).

This cannot be fixed topically. The sink must be dropped, the flange and stone bottom cleaned, and the sink strapped, not clipped or blocked, back in place after the flange is siliconed. Hercules Universal Sink Harness or a Sink Strap or two.
