Chocolate Snakeroot - eupatorium rugosum "chocolate'

Have any of you gardeners in North Texas grown this plant? I recently bought this with a tag that indicates it is a sun perennial and cold hardy to -30F. An online site indicates it is a Texas native and hardy in zones 4-9. That is a wide range of temperatures. My concern is will it survive our summer heat. I am located in Arlington.
