Beautiful wall and ceiling! I agree with KW, no giant clock anywhere and nothing above the doorway. You want to decorate at human being height, not up in the clouds where no one lives, lol.

What is the stack of gray stuff? I would move it elsewhere and center your sofa on the wall, then hang some large, art above it. Maybe put an end table there with a lamp, but much smaller than the gray pile. The other side of the doorway, if that is the dining room, would be the perfect spot for a piece of tall furniture, like a china cabinet, to fill the space and keep that wall from becoming too symmetrical, like it might with 2 large paintings.

The stack of grey stuff is playing couch cushions for our son. Since we haven’t finished adding furniture to the space, the cushions are part of the decor right now, but yes it won’t stay.

ok, so… where can i put a nice clock? on either side then?? I’m kind of tired of just using the stove clock that I can’t even see the time when the oven is on! yes, the dining room is to the right of the doorway. i can add a picture of that.

I love to see a lot of interesting things on walls, so maybe incorprate a clock?

As Olychick said, no to a big clock anywhere. Just another tired cliche, like word art. Have you tried a wrist watch? They’re really quite amazing!
