Very Beautiful . Their weather must be hot & dry to get so many blooms on healthy bushes . And I am sure they must have helpers taking care of all these roses .

Not sure what part of Japan this is and how the climate is there.

I never stop marveling at how some gardeners in some areas of the world can squeeze enormous amounts of bloom out of a single bush, to almost perfect bloom coverage. I don't know how this is possible, but I think I've see a lot of this in Asian regions.

For me, the ideal would not be to have lots of rose bushes with a few blooms here and there. I'd rather take more more than 2-3 bushes smothered in bloom.

But I've come to accept this will probably never happen in my humid south, so I take what I can.

Roses seem to want dry air, lots of sun, and tons of water. This is a tall order, come think of it.

Oh, well no dry air around here, that's for sure.

Thanks for posting this, Artist. Amazing how much has been squashed into the spaces and how healthy everything is despite. I do prefer a few more calm areas with the profusion, though I sure would like some profusion in my garden!

It is spectacular but also somewhat overwhelming. No dead or dying blooms either - I picture garden elves hard at work all night carting away the detritus in their little wheelbarrows.

This is true. It IS overwhelming a bit. No rhyme or reason. It gives me the sensation of kid in candy store. Still, I could not believe it.
