Study light fixture style size

Hi all. I could really use some help. I live in a 1905 side hall colonial. I use an upstairs room as a home office though retired. I just refurbished it as the walls were badly cracked. Our handyman used plaster and mesh to make them look brand new. The room looks amazing but now I have the itch to change things up. I am keeping only my queen Anne desk and some white book nooks. I replaced an old wall sconce with a more transitional one https://www.destinationlighting.com/item/markham-single-light-sconce-pull-chain-switch/353279?srsltid=AfmBOoriTaNiIEZH866QceCPPNG4l_-KrgSrc8ALVa_1V6CT0Qbj-XIj
I had a walnut ceiling fan but I want to go with cooler tones.. light
grey walls charcoal rug with blue and grey floral print. There is one large window in the room as well as a french door that leads out to a tiny balcony. I was going to just change out the blades in the fan light to different color but once he took down the fan the thought of it going back now feels heavy so not sure if I should do a flush mount or hanging fuxture and then clueless as to best style. I am really bad at this. Open to all opinions. The room is 10 by 12 and also has a radiator in it which I plan to get a cover for. Thanks in advance!
