Check out Ekornes Stressless chairs - recliners & footstools - many styles & great leather colors & quality. Not Eames but styles would blend .

Agree with @KW PNW Z8, Stressless armchairs have a nice modern design, and good quality, I have one for my husband.

You show 3 very different styles of chair and cover I need more info . I like an Eames chair for a nice classic look masculine or not . I do like stressles and alsi like anottoman instead of a flip up foot rest since I do not want my guests sitting in ana actual recliner bothof these come with an ottoman I have read a couple of your posts and IMO you have no nauled down your style so maybe start there

Hi Beverly, ideally this particular spot calls for a true swivel recliner but if I can't find the right one I will do a "two piece." The chairs in my original post were meant to represent general styles/looks that could fit within my design.

All of the suggestions so far are helpful. I like collecting a lot of options.

We had Fjords chairs (with footrests / ottomans) in our previous home and we loved them. I have honestly wanted to do something like a Stressless for this spot in the living room but I worried that aesthetically it wasn't the best I could do. This chair will be in a very visible, important position in the room. It is part of the "first impression" of my home because it'll be prominently in view from the foyer.

Staying with the Stressless idea, I would love to get opinions about which model(s) look best. Then it's always a fun/interesting challenge to find the right wood+leather color combination.

Or, if you think the Stressless look is not good enough for such an important position within a room, let me know. Maybe it's more fitting for a den, not the key spot in a living room.

The sit test should count for 95% of decision! I think the aesthetics of Stressless chairs are all postives because the styles blend and complement so many other styles.

Arhaus. I mean not ONE person who has sat in it leaves without buying, and I am a fan of Luxury like Hancock and Moore. But you can't beat this for comfort and it looks good everywhere. I think I've used at least six...

I've had clients look,,,,say nah!!!...then they sit.

That ARHAUS swivel glider must be an import from China. Lots of retailers offer the chair. It doesn't recline. For $2,300 it should tuck you into bed.

Having followed a ton of your posts, I'm quite sure the Fjord chair isn't going to make the impression you want. Save it for the den instead.

A swivel plus recliner makes so much sense because you can pull it close to your coffee table to be social, or swivel it towards the sliders to look at the view and then have enough room to pop up the recliner and rest your feet without hitting the coffee table. If you do a chair plus ottoman you will be blocking that line of sight even more.

A swivel + recliner where you can see through the base is going to make you happiest - it will feel like it is floating rather than blocking your view from the hall to the sliders.

This Arhaus one is $5,800! I have heard plenty of complaints about their furniture. Getting something from them with a mechanical part would make me nervous.

American Leather Atlas Comport chair looks nearly the same to me for $2k less. Both of these come in lots of fabrics.

Room and Board makes a swivel recliner on a base that you can see through too. Comes in leather or fabric. Some of the fabrics look like tweeds - will satisfy your menswear hankering. The bases are not wood - but you can choose your chose your color base, including brass or bronze, which might satisfy you more than shiny chrome or black steal.

A dapper plaid throw over the back will be great with these chairs too.

I hardly think at that price it needs to do more, and if you think 2300.00 for a leather anything is excessive?! Hancock and Moore is out of your league. China? Most leather from anyone is coming from CHINA and I care not who slaps it on a chair.
