I think I need more info. Can you get a stacking W?/D or remove the sink ? I am just asking what can be done. It seems you need good storage so maybe start there with a good tall cabinet thta can hold all that stuff including the mops etc. Try Ikea pantry type cabinets . Maybe post a to scale floor plan of the space every meaurement marked thet height and size of the window, mark where the door is too. IMO it seems you might be able to do a bit of purging for sure then see what has to be in there to start.

Can you post a floor plan showing all dimensions, door & window, a also specify your need besides the sink, washer & dryer. Do you plan on keeping that sink or can it be replaced by another model?

Replacing the metal shelving with closed cabinetry would help I think -

The room looks compact and well organized. While you are making plans for the remodel, you can make this one work more conveniently. Try adding a second mop rack, scooting over the first one to fit if necessary, and adding a towel bar over the sink faucet. A paper towel holder would be useful, too.
