Paint the whole room blue. Leave the yellow square above the bed and write on it as though it is a post-it note. (Sorry, I can't help but see post-its when I look at your wall.)

I don’t think you messed up. I think your scale is just off. Make those squares bigger and take up that wall!!!

Looks like you love bold colors! Paint room all one color and buy bold art for above your headboard.

Or buy different size canvases and paint them in the colors you were going to paint on the wall. That may help in somewhat achieving your goal.
