I would do a simple black night table

Did the dresser have matching night stands ? I think hat would be the best to keep finishes to a min. Wahyare the doors black ? Usually when choosing a color for doors in a space that connects to something in the space . Isee no black.except for a zebra rug witch again connects to nothing . I would do the matching night stands , really nice lamps large and tall enough to allow reading in bed and then go shopping for bedding with some black in it to make he doors work, a table and lamp between th cahirs and IMO nicer window coverings too. Is the zebra something you love ?

I'm all for neutral and calm........but maybe you have a bit of a yawn space going that's a bit toooooo much a yawn?

We don't know the space you have both sides. nor the height of your mattress from floor.

The bed needs a kick in the fanny, look below?

Then you need bedside lamps. : )

A bench at the foot of the bed is nice for parking linens or can also be additional storage. Take more pictures all angles, even upload a drawing ( jepeg ) with all the dimensions of the room, include window and bath openings!
