Definitely too light in my mind does not go with any of the existing colors. If you have to paint it I would go gray or a blue color, and for me another brand paint, but that is my disdain before Behr.

What paint to you recommend? We used sherwin Williams heavy duty concrete paint prior and it did not last.

Sherman Williams, Benjamin Moore, PPG, Valspar, Dunn & Edwards, Pratt & Lambert, any majoor brand over anything Behr. Again my opinion. Realistically however if the stamped concrete finish is failing any paint you apply will only last a short time and will fail as well. Any finish over an ill prepped or failing surface is doomed before it dries. Especially outdoors on a flat surface like a patio as it is 100% exposed and flat for the most part.

You will regret painting it. If you don't like the patchy look of the slab now, you really won't like all the peeling and chipping paint, and hate how you can't get it out of all the pockets and dimples later. Just too much moisture coming up through the concrete. Floor paint marketing is just that - marketing.

Yes, the khaki is too bright. I'd get something as close as possible in color to the stamped concrete, that way when it starts to chip, you won't notice it as much.

I presume when this space has furniture and plantings around it, your eye is distracted from the floor, and you probably notice it way more than others do.

I agree, the khaki is not a good color. Its way too light, and doesnt seem to go with anything. I agree, buy a color close to what you have. You will be very happy you did.

On Cape Cod, but I bet you could find an installer with a similar product:

Perhaps #PFC-63 Slate Gray would be a better choice in low-lustre or anti-slip finish. There's also paint color #BXC-55 Concrete Sidewalk.
