Hi guys

Just a quick question.

My darling daughter decided, last year, that I would love a bonsai for my birthday. (Where that idea came from, I have no idea.)

So she bought me a bonsai Chinese Elm.

It sits on a SW facing window sill, and looks happy enough. By that I mean it is growing and has not died, yet.

One thing, though. I notice that it drops dead leaves, pretty well every day.

Is this normal?

It gets watered every day, or two, with bonsai fert.

The photo was taken under the grow lights I use for my cacti, just to eliminate back lighting.
