Doors and trim company

I need to order interior doors and trim for our new build and im wondering whats a good company to go with? Our doors and trim (window trim and baseboards included) will be stained wood and we really want them to look nice. The company we did some samples with were done very poorly so looking for another option. Is it best to stay relatively local or just go with the best if they can shop?

Amish woodworkers can be an option. Especially if you are in an area close to an Amish community. But even if you have to travel and pickup or get things shipped. Renting a 24' box truck or enclosed trailer if you have a capable vehicle could be less expensive than shipping.

Visit a real lumberyard or look for an independent window and door showroom. Stay out of the box stores.
