I have a bit of a dilemma. The siding on the front of my townhome is pretty weathered (warped and peeling). The side looks okay but will need to be replaced as well. The back of the home gets no sun and still looks great. I had a few siding contractors come by and they all agreed that there was no need to replace the siding on the back. My dilemma is that the current siding on the home is 4.5 double dutchlap, however the color that matches best is certainteed monogram which comes in a 5in double ducthlap. Would it be a noticeable difference to replace the front and side of the townhome with a slighty wider siding than what is on the back of the home?
