morning sun on shade plants

last year

I have a young rhododendron and an astrantia in a spot that gets eastern morning sun. I know they both prefer a bit of shade and I thought this was a good spot as they get just a bit of sun until 10 and then get shaded out by the neighbors house and the big birch trees that are planted near them. We have had a ton of rain, even just yesterday, and yet still they are drooping this morning. Do I need to
move these or is there a chance they’ll sort themselves out as the season progresses and the leaf canopy fills in??
